Financial freedom is a process. You learn when you go. Know where you are financially today and where you want to go. Take baby steps to transform your financial life and become financially free.
You have to walk before you can run. Motivation is the fuel that keeps you going. What motivates you? Why do you want to be financially free?
Your reasons
Know the reasons why you want to become financially free. The reasons are important as they keep you going when you doubt that you can not achieve your financial goals. Keep your reasons, your why in front of you.
-
I want to have the money to travel around the world
-
I want to help other people through charities
-

-
I want to open an organic restaurant

I want to buy an island
“Success is doing what you want, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want” ~Anthony Robbins~
Who do you have to become?
Be, do and have. Your financial goals are the ‘have’ part in these three words. Who do you have to become in order to do what needs to be done to achieve your financial goals?
The person you has to become on your way to financial freedom is important. You have to become emotionally fit, otherwise the negative emotions will stop you from doing what you must do. Feel good whenever you are working on your finances. Work on your attitude, mindset and beliefs!
On your path to financial freedom it’s important to know and understand your numbers. The numbers tell your personal financial story. Make a personal financial statement every month. Know and understand the numbers. If you don’t feel good do another activity that you love first.
Do the right things. The right thing is when you are doing an activity and you feel good. If the activity feels like a burden, than you are not doing the right thing and you will not get any result.
If you do an activity to make something happen, work hard to make it happen and you have negative emotions doing the actions, then you will get no result. The actions are fruitless. The actions will not create any result.
Love what you do and do what you love. Raise your energy level by doing an activity that you love and after that do your finances. Do not procastinate working on your finances for a couple of days or weeks. Do not use an excuse for not working on your financial goals.
Activities to motivate yourself
“Motivation is the fuel, necessary to keep the human engine running” ~Zig Ziglar~
The activities will increase your energy level and then you can focus on what you want ‘working on your financial goals’ instead of what you do not want ‘worry and doubt to achieve your financial goals’. Write down an activity list. When you want to work on your finances and you feel down choose an activity and just do it.
Doing an activity you love will increase your energy level and overcome any negative emotion. Financial freedom has a price. The price is measured in dreams, desire and the ability to overcome any negative emotion that occur on your path.
-
Do a sport that you love
-
Go for a a walk in the sun
-
Play with your dog or cat
-
Read a book
-
Listen to an audio
-
Write down all the things and people in your life that you are grateful for
-
Make a vision board with all the things you want to do if money is not an issue. Whenever you feel like quitting working on your financial dreams, look at your vision board
After doing the activity that you love you can work on your financial goals with a good feeling. Take action towards your financial goals when you are motivated. Your actions become a habit.
Think about your why, your reasons to become financially free. Your why must be big enough to excite you when you think about it. Keep working on your financial goals.
For you financial success!
